Brewing Tea

There are a couple of important factors that should be considered when brewing Organic Mursalski Tea - water and brewing time.  Here we will provide some suggestions for quick brewing as well as a more in-depth procedure for maximum therapeutic effects.

Regardless of the brewing method, under NO circumstance should you microwave the tea or use it to heat the water.  Making tea this way kills all the vital nutrients in the plant.  Microwaving the water does not allow for proper boiling and steeping time.  We strongly suggest using spring water for preparing tea. Avoid using tap, purified or distilled water.

Quick Brewing Method (for 2 cups of tea):

In a stainless steel or glass pot, bring 2 cups of spring water to a boil.  Add 1 to 1-1/2 stalks of tea.  Boil for 30 seconds and turn off the heat.  Steep for 5-7 minutes before drinking.

Traditional Brewing Method (for 2 cups of tea):

In a stainless steel or glass pot, bring 2 cups of spring water to a boil.  Add 2 stalks of tea.  Boil a minimum of 2 minutes or a maximum of 5 minutes.  Turn off the heat and let the tea steep for 20 minutes before drinking.

Organic Mursalski Tea can be sweetened with honey or your favorite natural sweetener.  It is also delicious served over ice on a hot summer day.  For more serving suggestions, visit our blog.
